  1. Cuts:- Remedies
    It is said that a spider’s web would cure a cut. Another remedy was to let a dog lick it.
    Remedies for other diseases:
    In Ardmore, Co. Waterford there is a stone which was washed up there by the sea and people go under it to be cured of pain.
    In a field at Camphire, Cappoquin there is a well called Tobar an Turais where people come to pray. It is said that many were cured of coughs and pains. They hung ribbons on a tree which grows near it.
    The seventh son of a person is supposed to be a doctor. If he caught a worm in his hand it is said that it would die.
