    took off his clothes and tied them on his back. He swam from Youghal to Ferry Point a distance of one mile. When he arrived at Ferry Point his clothes were quite dry.
    Mowers
    Thomas Kiely, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Waterford mowed three acres of hay in a day.
    Dancers
    Mick Long, Twig Bog, Cappoquin was a very good dancer. When dancing a hornpipe he could put his leg up to hid head and take off his hat and put it on again still keeping time with the music.
    Story Tellers
    Mick Shanaghan, The Barrack, Camphire could stay telling a story for a whole night until morning.
