- If the sun is bright and clear we may expect good weather. If the clouds are running over it, it will be broken weather. When the stars are seen glittering in the sky the weather will be frosty. Stars seen falling denote that the frost will soon be broken. When white clouds or "castles" are seen in they sky we may expect rain. Leaden clouds forecast showers. If we see a good unbroken rainbow we know the weather is inclined to clear up.(continues on next page)
