    Rope-making
    Rope-making is carried on much in Camphire, Cappoquin, Co. Waterford by the fishermen. It is made from horses tails and woven by hand.
    Wheel-making
    Wheel-making is carried on inFountain, Tallow, Co. Waterford. They are made from oak or elm and the pieces are made first and then put together.
    Lime-burning in kilns
    The burning of lime in kilns is carried on in Dromana. The limestone is broken up with pick-axes and coln is thrown into it and lighted.
