  1. In olden times when people were going to get married the intended groom and some relatives of his and the match was made. The bride was to get a fortune of a sum of money or perhaps cattle from her father. Then the wedding day was appointed. Each of them had a great number of people with them to the Chapel. When the marriage cermony was over all went to the brides house where they all ate and drank, danced and sang until next morning. If they met a red haired woman on the road it was a token of
