  1. The old people long ago put old Irish names on every little brook field and hill. There is a field in the farm of Bernard Gallagher from Mullantyboyle. It is called Bella's town. It got this name from a tribe of people called Bellas who lived there long ago.
    There is a little brook in Tullyard that flows down from the hill and it's called "Sruthan Garb" i.e. The rough stream. It is called this on account of all the rocks.
