  1. IN the town-land of (Glen Mac) Glemmaccennive a man was buried there. There was a crowd of soldiers and they were all protestants except one of them. One Sunday the catholic went to mass and the protestants did not like that. When he came home they killed him and he was buried under Paddy Boyle's house. This soldiers name was Glen and that is how it took its name.
