    In my locality the people whither superstitious or not believe that there are lucky and unlucky days for certain things. It is said that it is unlucky to begin a new work on a Saturday, or to go to live in a new house, because the old saying is, a Saturday's flitting is a short sitting.
    It is also said that Whit Sunday is very unlucky, because if any person is born that day, they will die soon, and if any person sleeps that day, they will be half sleeping during the whole year. It is said that it is unlucky to get
