  1. In January 1907 a great storm was in the North West of Ireland. Around Glenties slates was to be got in heaps broken. People were trying to cover the houses with wet sods and mud. In the townland of Maas a man named Peter Boyle had been seriously injured. He was taken to the Hospital but after a day he died. Tree of 5 and 6 tons were blown elsewhere.
