    When I was about five years of age myself and my sister were up in our play room and we were told to remain there until we would be called.

    "Where did yet get that bit of fur". We told her where we got it. She then brought us down with her and told our mother what had happened and she went up and looked at her fur. She came down again and said we had her beautiful fur spoiled and she gave us a good scolding and put us to bed that night without any supper. (That is how I got my first beating and I always remembered it).
