    The bread the old used in olden times was called boxty bread. Some of the people that had oats used to make oaten bread There was very little flour to be got in the olden times.
    The people when making bread puts a cross or square the way the cake would bake well. The name of the vessel where the cake is baked is called an oven and some times it was baked on a griddle.
    The people long ago made great use of potatoes. They used to make potato cake from potatoes and they could get soap from the potato.
    The people always put oven in the side of the fire - no cake was ever
