   Roinn Roinn Postáil

   Aughaloughin is my Home District.
   Aughaloughin got its name from a pond which is in our field, called the Loughan. Long ago the ducks used to swim on this pond. Farrell is the name most commonly known. There are four families in Aughaloughin. All the houses are thatched. There is no person over seventy years in Aughaloughin. Several people have emigrated to America out of Aughaloughin. The land is level, and rich in Aughaloughin.
