    VI
When the ball was thrown in what a rush they make.
Smarted boys you never have seen.
These men you know make no mistake
Who are dressed in the dark and green.
    VII
And Farrell brave stood in the goal.
And on the backs were seen.
Mac Knight so true, and Nally too.
And Ellife in the dark and green.
    VIII
In the forwards Keegan and Murray stood
    As firm as Rathskeagh rocks.
Young Mac Knight and Hoare well did they work.
    Like faithful true 'Shamrocks'.
    IX
Conlon and Moran fought and scored.
The best you ever have seen.
Scally and Jordan the wings kept clear.
And got cheers for the dark and green
    X
    Hoare and Sheridan bravely fought
OLoughlin scored his points like shocks.
With Conlon & Jordan he victory brought.
    To Rathskeagh's Bold 'Shamrocks".
