  1. Rathskeagh Hill
    Your buildings and your monument
    You laud them very high
One would think by your laudations
That they came down from the sky.
But old King TIme as he rolls on
    Decay will on them spill
And when your fine buildings are all gone.
    Still green's old Rathskeagh Hill.
    II
Rathskeagh has beauties great and grand.
    That always took the sway.
They were composed by Natures hand
    And never can decay
No art that ever man bethought
Or ever will think of still
Can do such work as nature wrought
    on dear old Rathskeagh hill.
    III
The noble height when viewed aright,
With it's flowers of every life,
And the rippling rills like silvery frills,
Round its base are singing too,
Old Tustla the King of Hills,
From its top you have a view.
    Of half the lordly Shannon
    And the Quilcagh Mountains too.
