  1. Finn was the greatest hurler that ever lived. No one could ever hit a ball as hard or as high as he. One day he was waiting for his breakfast and when he had swum around Ballymore like two or three times to give him an appetite he came home to his house. He ran in the door and took out his hurley and ball. He gave the ball a puck straight up into the air and went in and ate his breakfast. When he had his breakfast eaten he came out to the door again and the ball was just coming down. He struck it another blow so hard that it did not come down till it was near dinner time.
