    Get a straight piece of an elder about a yard long and three inches wide.

    Get a straight piece of an elder about a yard long and three inches wide. Then get an iron and redden it in the first. When you have it red, push it through the hole in the stick and it will burn the centre out of the elder.
    Then get a spring of a clock and cut a piece out of the centre of the elder and out it in the spring. Now get a nail, and nail one end of the spring to the elder. Then make a hole on the side of it, and make a wooden tricker like a gun and put
