Where the residence of Deerpark National School now stands my great grandfather lived. His wife has a habit of leaving the car in the barn with the cows, and going into her house for a bucket to put the milk into. The woman saw a strange woman come and milk the cow and keep the milk. The poor woman did not know what to do. One night her daughter was out for water, and she saw a lovely lamb beside her with a very white cloth on it. She stooped and picked up the cloth, and brought it in to the house.The following night a great cry came about the house _ "Give me my apron". The people of the house did not know what to do, so they put the cloth on the tongs and put it out over the door(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
