  2. The potatoes are nearly always sowed in drills. First the ground is ploughed. Then it is harrowed and cultivated Then the drills are made with plough. The manure is put in the drills. Then the potatoes are planted and the drills are covered. When the potatoes are high enough they are moulded. In the month of September the farmers diggs the potatoes.
