    "Sheill's bogs" gets their names from a man named Thomas Sheills who lived there over three years ago "Dowlings mountain" situated in Ardenteggle, gets its name from Dowlings who lives there at present "Hughes's bog" it is situated in Monavea and it gets its name from a woman named Mary Hughes who lived there over forty years ago.
