  1. There are many cures in this district for various kinds of diseases If a person has warts he gets a snail and with it rubs the warts. When he has this done he puts it up in a white thorn tree and accordingly as the snail withers the warts wither. There is a cure for Anthony's fire in this district. When two people of one name get married their children can cure it. Bridget Moore of Ardenteggle can cure Anthony's fire.
