   Her graceful form and modest looks had well belied her name
   (Her name was Fox)
   And when a young man that I
   know, his objects have achieved
   Her name will change to Brady,
   if I am not deceived.
   The football games were bravely played in real old Gaelic Style
   With grim determination, behind
   the genial smile.
   Although the Tipperary boys fought hard to hold the sway,
   the sons of Dan O'Connel were
   the victors of the day.
   And as I stood and looked with pride, on feats of strengh and
   bravery.
   A voice within me seemed to ask,
   "why leave their homes in slavery".
   No wonder Eirn weeps to see, that
   multitude so grand, the lifes
   blood of her ancient race
   adorn another land.
   But let us hope that day is near
   when she may yet rejoice
