    Told by Pat Kenny (same address] age about 60.
    There is supposed to be a pot of gold buried in the townland of Drumerhare. It is supposed to be guarded by the fairies. One night a man called Larry Mc Dermott was coming from a raffle in a neighbour's house at about one o'clock. When he was going across a whinny field, near his own home, he saw a little fairy hammering a shoe and singing at his best. Larry made a grab at the fairy and caught it. The fairy thought he would get Larry to look around, by telling him that there was a horse in his vats. Larry would not look round but said "If you don't tell me where there is a pot of gold, I'll squeeze to death". The fairy got afraid, and he brought Larry over to a whin and said there was gold there. Larry tied
