  1. In the morning
Lord be the branch, Lady be the flower,
Sweet Jesus be with me at my dying hour.
All for Thee O Lord, O my Jesus all for thee.
    At night
I lay my body down to sleep,
To God I give my soul to keep,
And if I die before I wake,
I pray to God, my soul to take.
There are four corners on my bed
There are four angels round it spread
St. Matthew, Mark, St Luke and John,
God bless this bed that I lie on.
