  1. Tristernagh is my town-land and it is in Ballynacargy parish. There are about twenty one families in it. There are wight thatched houses, and the rest are slated.
    I do not know how Tristernagh got its name. There are eight people over seventy, Mrs. Early, Mrs. Whyte, Mrs Flood, Mrs. Noonan, Mrs Murray, Ned Melia, Andrew Hafford and James. There do not tell in Irish, nor in English.
    The houses were much more numerous long ago in the town land than now as there are the ruins of thirteen old houses in it. Some of the
