    ago there was a blind woman at the well. She saw the trout and the minute she saw the trout her eyesight came back to her. She put a beautiful statue of Our Lady at the well and the well is ever since known as Our Lady's Well.
    There is a bush beside the well and people hang pieces of rags on the bush.
    There is a holy well in Duntryleague known as St. Patrick's Well. There is a pattern held there every year on the 17th March. St. Patrick passed through Duntryleague on his way from Cashel to Kilmurry where he stayed for one night at a house owned by people called Hennessey.
