    When the sea-gulls fly low it is the sign of bad weather but when they fly high it is the sign of fine dry weather.
    When fog forms in a straight line along the side of the mountains (Galtees) fine weather can be expected. When fog comes far down the mountain sides bad wet weather can be expected.
    When the sky is red in the evening 'tis the sign that the following day will be sunny and warm.
    When animals gather together and when birds go ahid it is the sign of thunder and lightening.
    When a lot of stars appear in the sky it is the sign of frost.
