  1. A cure for a burned foot is made out of laurel leaves and lard.
    The laurel leaves are picked and boiled with the lard. Then it is strained and the liquid is let cool. When it is well cooled it is used.
    The best cure for a pain in your tooth is to put bread soda into your tooth.

  2. A good cure for chilblains is to rub paraffin oil to them. They say that goats milk will cure consumption. A dog's lick will cure a cut or any kind of sore. Bleeding from the nose is stopped by putting a key down the person's back and tying the two middle fingers of the left hand together.
