He called at the window and his wife thinking it was his ghost asked what brought him back. As he could not get admittance he went into a little cabin where a pig was sleeping for the remainder of the night. It happened this pig was the price they were to give for the marragie. A man was sent for the pig in the night time. He went into the house. Jack thought he was a thief and beat him outside. Next morning was Sunday, and all the people were going to mass and Jack went too. All the people thinking he was dead got afraid and started to run. He thinking it was late, ran after them as fast as he could. They ran to the priest and told him. He(continues on next page)
