    Once upon a time, there was a man, and every night he used to go to the town.

    Once upon a time, there was a man, and every night he used to go to the town. There was a forge on the side of the road. On his way home one night he met a large number of fairies at the forge, and they were all riding on horseback. One of the fairies asked him would he go with them. He said he would if they gave him a horse. One of the fairies went in behind the forge, and got an old plough that was thrown down on the ground. He changed it into a horse, and told the man to go up on the horse's back, but not to hit the horse. The man went up on his back, and off they went. The horse went off without a stop
