  1. In the town of Ballymoe there was a nailer -- Ned Connor. This man made slating nails, tongs, hammers and pot hooks which he sold to the shopkeepers in the surrounding villages and towns.
    Malacy Gannon was a blacksmith who lived near Ballynoe. He made horse shoes and spades.
    Patch Raffeny Ballymoe wove wheaten straw into baskets, hampers, bee hives and arm chairs.
    Katie Courtney, Ballymoe was a dressmaker Pat Gilleran was a skilled house carpenter and painter who lived in the same little village.
