    -er them around the field and it would do for manure. My father sticks some of the potatoes. The way he does it is to lift up a little clay and put in the slit and put the clay over it. Then he puts the manure and spread it over the slits. And then he sets them in. Then the are like ridges. The láidhes and spades are not made in the District. Some years ago wooden ploughs were common in the country. The people used to make them themselves and they used to put asses pulling them. The people use iron ploughs now.
