    If a man comes into your house the first on New Year's Day you will have good luck for the year but if a woman comes in you will have bad luck. People don't throw out dust or dirty water on New Year's Day as they say they are luck and they would be throwing out luck for the year. People also say that it is not right to give anything out of the house on New Year's Day as they say luck would be going out of the house for the year.
