  1. There were two thieves who lived together, some years ago. The Blood hounds never put on the track of them in the Galty mountains. One of them had left some days before the other, and had decided to rest in Derry More in the County Clare, in the parish of Bodyke. His comrade was hunted by two Blood hounds and was followed by two gentle men who rode on horseback. The Thieves knew quite well that the dogs were sheeted so that a bullet could not pierce them.
