  1. There are great changes in Ireland for the past few years. I think the most noticeable is the improvement in peoples homes. Instead of the old thatched houses that were to be seen, as you travel through the country, now you will meet with beautiful slated dwellings and all have large windows. In some districts there are yet to be seen the old mud cabins with a little hole for a window
