  1. We have a churn and we make butter every week. It is an "end over end" churn and there is a handle on it to twist it. A dash churn the people used long ago. some people have that kind yet. It takes about half an hour to make the butter. Long ago, if the people were a long time making the butter, they said that some-one had it taken out of the churn and they gave up trying to make it. When the butter is made the butter-milk is taken out.
