  1. We have a tumble churn at home. It is very easy to make butter in it. Long ago some people used to carry their firkins on top of their heads to market. Others used to take it on an ass and baskets to market.
    We take our butter to the market of Limerick where we get a good price for it. We churn twice a week in summer and one a week in the winter. The name of the churn that we have at home
