  1. The names of the animals on our farm are cows, calves, horses, pigs, goats and fowl. We have six cows named Poll, white cow, black cow, strawberry cow, red Kerry and magpie. When the cows come in they are tied in the cowshed with chains tied to poles. They have a nice bed of straw and a manger of hay. The cows are milked every morning and evening at a certain hour. Everyone helps at the milking seated on three-legged stool
