    ago. there are many old dates on some of the tomb stones which are in it. It is said that there must be another graveyard in Patrick Salmon;s field, in Kilkenny West because people attempted to open a sand pit and they found the remains of three men.

  2. There is a graveyard in this Parish. There is a Graveyard church connected to the graveyard and it is still in use. There is headstone inside the church built into the wall it is in honor of Father Kearney who died in the parish in the year 1868. The graveyard is facing towards the South.
