  1. There are four tailors in the district, Matt Mulhall Tobberclair, James Irwin Brittas, Michael Naughton Glasson and Willie Brien Lissoy. The tailors work at their own houses. The tailor stocks cloth. There is no cloth spun in the district.
    There is an old spinning wheel in the district in John Conlons of Lissakillen, Glasson, Athlone. It is the custom to wear black at a funeral. Long ago they travelled from house to house. The tailor uses a scissors a machine and a ripper. There is no account of shirts make of Flax in the district. When people are getting married they wear blue or white clothes. Miss Mary Brien of LIssoy makes shirts. There are three dressmakers in the district their names are Mrs Dalton, Mrs Bertles and Mrs . They are supposed to be
