    or five apples are put into the water then a person does his best to catch an apple in his mouth without the help of his hands and if he succeeds in catching it he may eat the apple. The following is a game which is played on Hallow Eve. Three saucers are placed on the table, clay is put in the first one, a ring in the second and water in the third one. Then a person of the crowd is blindfolded and he is led over to the table and if he leaves his hand on the saucer with the ring it is said he will get married before the years is out. If he leaves his hand on the clay he will die before the year is out or if he leaves it on the water he will cross the water before the end of the year.
