- (continued from previous page)near a place called Lavey, a few miles from the town of Cavan. There is a well in in the place of the hoof-marks, made in the shape of a horse's hoof now, and it is supposed to have the cure of toothache and other diseases.
- The animals, that are sold, are marked with mud and keel. When a haltered animal is sold the halter is given to the person, that buys the animal.
