  1. Palm is hung in the cow-house on the (do) Easter Sunday to bring luck on the stock for the rest of the year. There is also a bottle of holy water kept in it, in case of accident. In some places people think it is not lucky to let milk out of the house after sunset, and if they do, they put a punch of salt in it.
