  1. There were treasures hidden beside a hawthorn bush near Ballickmoyler. These treasures are there about seven centuries. The man who hid them there hanged himself after doing so. Many people have tried to dig it up, but it is said that nobody has succeeded.
    There is a rath in Ballinakill and there is supposed to be money hidden in this rath. It is said that this money is enchanted and that if you wanted to dig it up you would have to kill some animal such as a cock, or a hen would do either.
