told him to bring out a coal of fire to redden his pipe. Shone went in and put a coal up on the anvil and brought out the anvil to the man and the coal up on it.
Another day Shone and his son took a horses car to the river for a load of gravel and when they had it full Shone said to his son to catch the shafts in front and he would help behind and the son started pulling the load and himself up the hill from the river and when he was at the top the son dropped dead. He broke his heart pulling the load and Shone up the bank.
