  1. Once upon a time a man was coming home and he had to cross a bog. When he was about in the middle of the bog he saw some white thing. When he went to it he saw two or three white stones in a ring. He went home and got up very early in the morning.
    When he went to it he saw the same stones. He began to dig in the middle of it and he kept digging and digging but he could see nothing.
    Then when he was cutting the turf and had it nearly cut he found a little ring of gold and he sent it to the museum in Dublin and he got one pound ten for it.
