  1. There are many stories told about forts and especially fairys stories. They are heards different names in different parts of the country. In this part of the country they are called forts. Mostly all these forts were made in the same style. They are made of mounds of earth with a strong circular embankment and trench in the outside. I believe these were made by Chieftains and their clans for protection against enemies or either for protection against wild animalsif they can be traced to be in existence when wild animals were in this country. As regard the stories that are told about forts I think a lot of it is Fiction. How ever we shall leave that to be solved. One old person says he saw lights in a fort. Another heard music. Another saw a mysterry woman coming from a fort entering a neighbours house for the lend of a pot. How ever a neighbour not far from here and his friend were ferreting rabbits in a fort with the result that they lost their ferret. They stayed that night at a neighbour house. They searched theirs for their ferret but they failed to get him. They returned to same house again. At two o'clock they went again to the fort. This time they got their ferret, came home and went to bed. Next day there was plenty of talk in the
