    It was raining and the little boy was a long way from home but a kindly farmer asked him in until the rain would be over and his wife gave him his dinner going off she gave him a good warm coat.
    I was late for school and I was running I cut my foot with a stone and I sat down on the side of the road but a kind man drove up with his motor car and he asked me to get up and I got up in the car and I was in good time for school.
    I went to the fair and it was a lovely fine day. I got five shillings from my Mother but I lost two shillings and I had three after to
