  1. Count Moore was the landlord of this district. The family have been settled in the district for three generations.
    He was looked upon as a good landlord. Some evictions were carried out but the people were reinstated again.
    Captain Moore's grandfather bought the land from another landlord The lands were divided by another landlord. The farms were not sub-divided among members of the family on marriage.
    The landlord did not exercise any special power over his tenants. They were not punished for trivial acts. I do not know if tithes were collected in this
