    There was only one basket maker in Cahir named Mr. Burke. The baskets he made were known as potato baskets. He made the baskets out of the sallies and he bent the sallies in the shape of a basket. He made two handles out of the sallies, and attached them to the basket. He got 6 1/2d for every basket he made.
    There were a lot of waistcoats made in Clonmore. They were the same make as ordinary coats but they were made of flannel.
