  1. About twenty years ago there lived a tailor in Ballycarron in the parish of Kilmoyler. His name was Daniel O'Connell but he was always called 'Daneen'. He was not much of a tailor, but still it was he who used to make all the clothes for the people of the district. Whatever he made did not turn out as the way people wanted it, and they used to say ''it isn't what you would ask him to make he would make at all''. His son is a school teacher and his daughters are still alive.
